Why Kattoor Algebra Institution
In the post-COVID era, global education underwent a major shift towards online classes and digital content, revealing stark disparities in content creation and delivery. While global EdTech giants rose to meet this demand, in Kerala—a state known for its focus on literacy—education faced serious challenges. The reliance on private institutions meant education came at a cost, adding financial strain to families already hit hard by the pandemic.
A significant portion of these families depended on earnings from the overseas diaspora, many of whom faced job losses and economic setbacks post-COVID. As a result, countless households in Kerala struggled to continue funding their children's education, exposing deep vulnerabilities in the region's educational framework.
In light of these unforeseen changes, private institutions, for the first time in a long time, were left battling it out with one another for a small piece of the pie. Quality, Affordability, Continuity, Adoption of New-Age Technologies, Integration of Over-The-Top courses became the mantra for survival and growth.
It is under these circumstances that KATTOOR ALGEBRA INSTITUTION LLP, took shape. Established in 2022 with an aim of creating Class-Leading Centre’s of Excellence across various streams of Education, we are pioneering measurable change in the education landscape through various projects and a clear roadmap.
